#089 Unplanned Maintenance: 31.10.2011, 13:00 – 14:00 CEST VMware Cloud Server replacement
As a result of VMware Cloud system-maintenance we will replace two hardware servers in our VMware Cloud Hosting Cluster#7 in our Milan datacenter requested by an hardware failure occurred today. Since our VMware Cloud Hosting platform is powered by VMware HA and VMware vMotion features no customer has been affected by this failure and no customer will be annoied during this maintenance. The replacement will start on the 31.10.2011 at 13:00 and will be completed on 31.10.2011 at 14:00.
This maintenance concerns :
- VMware Cloud Hosting Cluster#7based in Milan.
This maintenance do not concerns :
- Other VMware Cloud Hosting Clusters
- VMware Dedicated Hosting already upgraded with VMware vSphere
- Colocation and Housing
- IP-Transit, Ethernet Services, MPLS and VPN services
NOTE: Just in case a Virtual Machine reboot is needed and to let our technician be able to soft reboot the guest OS, all the Virtual Machines needs to have VMware Tools installed and upgraded. All unManaged VMware customers are pleased to install the VMware Tools ro upgrade it to the last version.
